Effective Tuesday, January 16, 2024, at 12:01 AM, the Crawford Metropolitan Housing Authority, City of Galion Ohio will open the Housing Choice Voucher waiting list, then closing the waitlist on January 25th, 2024 at 11:59pm in accordance with CFR 982.206.
Pre-applications will be accepted for the Housing Choice Voucher Program waiting list on January 16, 2024, at 12:01am. After the closing date of Thursday, January 25, 2024, at 11:59 pm no pre-applications will be accepted. Public Notice will be provided when the Crawford Metropolitan Housing Authority determines to re-open the waiting lists.
The CMHA has determined that based on HUD regulation, a public hearing is not required when opening and closing the waiting list. Therefore, only public notice will be provided as stated in the prevailing Crawford Metropolitan Housing Authority Administrative Plan.
The Crawford Metropolitan Housing Authority is a political subdivision of the State of Ohio and is governed by a five-member Board of Commissioners who are appointed to five-year terms by local elected officials.
